Created to give form to the ideas conceived in the studio, Fábrica Policronica is a space for experimentation and production, where concept and material converge.
An abandoned factory in Rio Maior has been transformed into a research ground for materials, techniques, and processes. Traditional methods coexist with new technologies, expanding the possibilities of local wood and exploring its uses beyond the conventional. Every detail of the process becomes part of the narrative embedded in the final object.
Among the early experiments that granted the material developed in the factory greater recognition, the creation of its own vacuum drying process and the unique use of local eucalyptus stand out. This abundant raw material, redefined through the studio's design, has been highly praised, highlighted by architecture-related media platforms such as ArchDaily and Dezeen.
Fábrica Policronica operates at the intersection of craftsmanship, design, and architecture, where each project becomes a field of discovery and refinement.
